Bigger bettors tend to play blackjack in the privacy of high-limit rooms. Medium and high rollers will play green ($25) and black ($100) chips. Most people at the blackjack tables on the main casino floors are wagering a few red chips ($5 units) each hand. Gambling on the main casino floor is no different. For reference, I read somewhere that the average sports wager in Las Vegas is around $20.
